International Event Access

Art Basel, Paris

International galleries and collectors return to the Grand Palais for Art Basel Paris, with the fair extending into museums, institutions and cultural spaces across the city.

France Paris 23-25 October 2026

What Art Basel Paris is

Art Basel Paris is the French edition of Art Basel, bringing leading galleries, artists, collectors and institutions together at the Grand Palais. The 2026 fair takes place from 23 to 25 October, preceded by invitation and preview days earlier in the week.
The fifth edition brings together 211 exhibitors from 41 countries and territories. The fair is organised across three sectors: Galeries, presenting established international gallery programmes; Emergence, focused on emerging galleries and artists; and Premise, dedicated to distinctive curatorial proposals and historically focused presentations.

The fair itself is only one part of the week. Art Basel's Public Program extends into museums, institutions and public spaces around Paris, while galleries, foundations, exhibitions and events across the city create a much broader art week around the Grand Palais.

What is unique about Art Basel Paris

The defining advantage of Art Basel Paris is the relationship between the fair and the city around it. The Grand Palais provides an extraordinary architectural setting for the main fair, but the experience extends well beyond a single exhibition hall. For 2026, Art Basel's Public Program reaches locations including the Petit Palais, Palais d'Iéna, Beaux-Arts de Paris, Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine and several public spaces around the Grand Palais. At the same time, Paris's galleries, museums, foundations, auction houses and private collections create their own programmes around the fair. This makes it possible to build several very different visits: focused collecting around particular artists or periods, a broader contemporary-art programme, meetings with galleries, institutional exhibitions, or simply experiencing one of the most concentrated weeks in the Paris art calendar.
